SIMPOVA Green

SIMPOVA is dedicated to improving our environment.

SIMPOVA has been in operation since 1994. We have always been a virtual organization and we have never had commuting staff. This is roughly equivalent to keeping 10 cars off the road for 1 to 2 hours per day, an average of 50 weeks per year since 1994. This represents more than 70,000 driving hours, a huge amount emissions, that SIMPOVA has kept out of our atmosphere. It vastly offsets the carbon footprint of all of our combined corporate energy consumption.

We are currently evaluating several green data centers. Our preference is to choose a competent provider who uses alternate energy sources (i.e. wind, solar) directly, as opposed to the variety of hosts who simply purchase energy "credits". We are committed to making this move without increasing our costs or reducing our services.
